Adjustments week9

Here are some new adjustments to the models that was changed since the over-haul of the hero design. As of this time, Pro_SWAT has a new OBJ and needs a smooth group.
Update: As of 4:45pm of 3/12/10
Brendon has recieved the new Pro_SWAT OBJ and appling the smooth group.

Hero Text Over Haul!

With collaborations with Brendon, Eve, and Jasn. Here is the new Color Scheme to the Prototype Hero. Glow bars are visible from farther away, colors are more intense, and we found the palette that allows the hero to stand out.

Hero Adjustment

Since the last time we had our hero I had to take out the shoulder shadow as well as add new glow seems to give it the futuristic touch. Enjoy!

Flame Bot


I had too much fun with this guy. Going left to right are the different views of the Fire Spirit. As for the last frame is a stronger definition of the skull, defined cheek bones, enlarged eyes, shrunken the icon over all for more visiblity in one persective.

Here is Ryan's design with the twist of futurism to stray away from the retro look when applied on his generator. We will be adding bits of those glowing bars to all of our characters and props from here on.

Week 1 and 2 in review so far.





As of week 1 I have taken up Modeling and Texting. For the homework of week 1, I was to concept 3 characters, 3 mechanics, and 3 level. For levels I had made a clear direction of of making all building from platform to roofs top heavy for cartoony and wider spacing.
For Character design I attempted to make a model simple enough to rig. Unfortunately I have not done rigging and did concepts that where actually harder to do then some generic human anatomy. For mechanics I wanted to push puzzle utilization through methods of neutralize enemies.
This week I have been assigned to do a finalization on the concept art of Brendon Fitzgerald's Hero Robot.
